M.E. Employees Credit Union

About Us

Your credit union was established on April 15, 1932. It was originally named O.K. Motors Credit Union. The purpose of the credit union was, and still is, to promote thrift among its members and to loan its funds to them for provident purposes. On August 28, 1946, the credit union changed its name to M.E. Employees Credit Union.

With more than $10 Million in assets, M.E. Employees Credit serves more than 1600 members in 4 States. Membership is open to employees and retirees of Marathon Electric Manufacturing Company. A public depositor, any employees of this credit union, and any member of the immediate family of any other eligible person may become a member of the credit union in the manner provided in the Bylaws.

We are governed by a Board of Directors that establishes and reviews policies. Our directors are MEECU members who are elected by the membership.
